How to Apply for the Slash Global USD Account
Last updated June 14, 2026
Overview
The Slash Global USD Account is designed for businesses incorporated outside the United States. It provides access to US account and routing numbers, SWIFT access for international wires, supported crypto rails, and a USDSL-denominated balance.
Eligibility
Global USD is available to businesses incorporated in supported countries. US-incorporated entities should apply for Slash Business Banking instead. Some jurisdictions and business types are restricted due to regulatory requirements, and some countries may require enhanced due diligence.
What You'll Need Before You Apply
- Business information: legal business name, date of incorporation, registered address, phone number, website, country of incorporation, industry, and a description of what your company does.
- Formation documents: articles of incorporation or other official documents issued when your company was legally established.
- Proof of business address: documentation verifying the physical location where your company operates, such as a utility bill, lease agreement, or government-issued business registration document.
- Beneficial owner and control person details: full legal name, date of birth, residential address, email, phone number, ownership percentage, and role for every individual who owns 25% or more of the business, plus at least one controlling person.
- Government-issued ID and passport: each beneficial owner must provide accepted identification documents.
- Bank or credit card statements and proof of operating activity: two recent statements and documentation showing your business is active, such as recent invoices, signed contracts, or revenue statements.
Country-Specific Business Identifiers
Depending on where your business is incorporated, Slash may ask for a local registration number or tax identifier. Enter the identifier that appears on your official company registration documents.
For businesses incorporated in the United Arab Emirates, you can provide a Trade License Number if your business does not use a Tax Registration Number (TRN). If Slash sends a follow-up request for your registration number, the form may prefill information from your application; review it carefully and correct anything that does not match your official documents before submitting.
How to Apply
- Start your application at slash.com. When you select a country outside the United States, your application will automatically default to Global USD.
- Enter your business information, upload formation documents and proof of business address, and add beneficial owners and control persons.
- Upload supporting documents, including bank or card statements, proof of operating activity, and any country- or industry-specific documents requested in the application.
- Review your application, accept the applicable Global USD terms, and submit it for review.
What Happens After You Apply
Most Global USD applications are reviewed within 1–3 business days, though some applications may take longer if additional diligence is required. Slash may contact you for clarification or additional documents. Responding promptly and making sure names, addresses, and identifiers match your official documents helps avoid delays.
Once approved, your Global USD Account is ready to use. You can view your account details, add funds, and send or receive supported payments from your dashboard.
